Privacy statement.

How we handle your information.

Effective and last updated: September 19, 2026

Who we are and what this covers

GuardVest LLC provides cybersecurity advisory services. This statement explains how we handle personal information associated with our website, inquiries, consultation bookings and payments. Contact info@guardvest.co with privacy questions or requests.

Client testimonials

If you submit a testimonial, we receive your name, email, optional company and job title, service details, testimonial, requested public credit and any private note. Formspree delivers submissions to our team for review. With your permission, we may publish your approved testimonial and requested credit on this website. We do not publish your email or private note. We retain publication permissions while the testimonial is in use and as needed to handle requests or disputes. Contact info@guardvest.co to request an update or removal.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we receive your name, company, email address, optional phone number, service of interest and message. Formspree processes the submission and delivers it to GuardVest by email. When you book a consultation, we receive booking details such as your contact information, appointment time and answers to scheduling questions. For paid consultations, we receive payment-status and transaction information; Stripe processes your card details, which are not collected directly by this website.

Hosting and form-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, referring pages, timestamps and request logs to deliver and protect their services. Please do not submit passwords, source code, customer records or sensitive incident evidence through the general inquiry form.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to respond to inquiries, understand business needs, arrange and deliver consultations, process payments and refunds, maintain business records, and protect against spam, fraud and misuse. We disclose information to the providers that support these functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or as reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Our service providers

  • Formspree — inquiry delivery: processes form submissions and routes them to our email. Privacy policy.
  • Google Workspace — communications: supports our email, calendar invitations and Google Meet consultations. Privacy policy.
  • Calendly — scheduling: handles appointment selection, booking information and scheduling notifications, and provides meeting recording, transcription and AI-assisted notes when Notetaker is used. Privacy notice.
  • Stripe — payments: processes payments and refunds for paid consultations. Privacy policy.
  • OpenAI Sites — hosting: hosts this website and supports its delivery. Privacy policy.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. Providers’ own privacy notices describe their processing practices. We share information needed for the functions described above.

Cookies, analytics and recordings

GuardVest has not added advertising pixels or analytics tools to this website, and does not use website inquiry information for targeted advertising. Our website code does not track visitors across other websites and does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. Hosting and other providers may use cookies or similar technologies for their services; when you follow an external booking or payment link, that provider’s practices apply.

Calendly Notetaker is enabled for consultations. When used, it processes meeting audio and may record meeting video, produce transcripts, and generate AI-assisted notes and summaries for follow-up and service delivery. These materials may contain your name, voice, image and information shared during the meeting. We will notify participants and obtain any consent required before recording or transcription. To request a consultation without recording or AI transcription, email info@guardvest.co before the meeting or tell your host before recording begins. Booking alone is not consent to recording.

How long we keep information

We delete unsuccessful sales inquiries after 12 months without further contact, including the inquiry copies in Formspree and our email, unless retention is needed for legal obligations or a dispute. If an inquiry becomes a client relationship, the relevant records become part of our client records.

We retain consultation recordings, transcripts and notes only as reasonably needed for follow-up, service delivery or applicable legal requirements. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to those requirements. We retain booking, payment and client records for as long as reasonably needed to deliver and administer services, maintain required financial and tax records, and resolve disputes. The appropriate period depends on the record’s purpose, the relationship and applicable legal requirements. Provider-controlled backups and records maintained for a provider’s own legal obligations follow that provider’s retention practices.

Your privacy questions and requests

Email info@guardvest.co to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. Tell us the email address you used and the nature of your request. Do not send sensitive identification documents with your initial request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before providing information or acting on a request.

Depending on your location and the laws applicable to GuardVest, you may have rights to obtain a copy of your information, request correction or deletion, or object to or restrict certain processing. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any applicable exception or reason we cannot fulfill a request. Where applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Confidential engagement information

Client engagement materials are distinct from a general website inquiry. Signed engagement documents, including the statement of work and mutual NDA, describe the services, confidentiality obligations and agreed handling of engagement materials. Those terms supplement rather than replace applicable privacy obligations.

For a source-code vulnerability scan, we assess an agreed snapshot of your source code using proprietary vulnerability scanners. Your code is treated as confidential under the signed mutual NDA and used solely to identify vulnerabilities and prepare the agreed findings. Transfer, access, retention and deletion arrangements for those materials are addressed in the engagement.

Security

The hosted website and its form submissions use HTTPS to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use the agreed engagement channels for confidential client materials rather than the general inquiry form.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

Updates

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice on the website or by email when appropriate, and obtain consent where required by law.
